"JP1 user" refers to having and using the cable. If you have the cable, you have no reason to need a wav file. Loading an upgrade via the cable is easier.
Those are rather obscure devices. Maybe one of the experts will find time to check the usual places for data on them. But if you have a Jp1 cable and a learning remote (the 9960) and the original remotes, that research isn't required. You could get all the information needed for an upgrade yourself by learning signals from the original remote then downloading and decoding them.

That's what I guessed you meant and why I explained.
The only Metz device I've found data for so far is a VCR and it uses the Panasonic VCR code set. So maybe the Metz TV uses the Panasonic TV setup code. Did you try that one?
I found data on three different Grundig DVDs, that use three very different code sets and none of those model numbers is similar to the one you mentioned.
Someone else may have some ideas, but I think your devices are going to be hard to get without a JP1 cable.

I have some not very complete notes that there is a Metz TV that uses setup code TV/0477. The IR protocol is very unusual and I remember decoding it:
{39.487k,MSB}<414,-1714,414,-2286|414,-566,414,-1140>(1:1,414, -2778,F:8,T:2,414, -124280)+
Of course that doesn't mean wts_shakal's TV is that one. I recommend that wts get a JP1 cable since iterating through wav upgrades will get tedious.
