JP1 Remotes

First off, excellent site and people.

Does anyone have any info regarding upgrade codes / device codes for a Viewsonic Nextvision N5 tuner and/or an Infocus X1 projector? I am using a RS 15-2116 Universal Remote w/ a JP1 cable so hacking is possible. Let me know. Thanks in advance.

If you do have a JP1 learning remote, then the answer to your search is already in your hands. All you need to do is learn the buttons from your original remote, using your JP1 learning remote, and then download the memory using IR.exe. This will (usually) tell you what protocol, device codes and OBC/EFC codes are being used. You can then use this info to build an upgrade for your device using either KM or RM.
