Discretes within macros?

I just about have my 9910 the way I want it ,so now Im trying some macros.
What Im trying to get is stb(AUX)power-tv-power-thengo to the dicrete video input on tv component 2 which I put at the pause button.
The tv powers along with the stb but the tv stays on whatever input it was last on.
Anyone know what im doing wrong or is this not possible?

There's a good change that after powering up there is a period of time during which the TV will not respond to the remote.

The first thing to check is that the pause key actually switches the TV to component 2 once the TV has been on for a while. If that works, you can try adding some delays between the TV power on.

For this very reason, I chose to have a global power on macro and a global power off macro, and then have additional macros on the device buttons which only handle setting everything to the correct inputs.
