Hi,

I've a URC-9960 and use IRtoWAV to upload my configuration.
I've found that a few buttons from code 0054 are working. Can someone tell me the EFCs from code 0054? I've found a few EFCs from the devices4.xls but I can't find the buttons SWIP, Freeze, Move etc. that I need to control my TV.
(Or has someone a similar device? Freeze from code 0054 acts as 16:9 pip as freeze last as show watch...)

Just a few?

There are a lot of different TV's that use approximately that setup code. They certainly differ in many functions. But all of them that I remember match in all the basic functions: the 10 digits, the vol keys, the channel keys, and power.

I'll check later for data on Orion TV's, and I can check CCF file for those three functions. The above is very good information for tracking down a variant of a setup code, though the first couple times I tried to read that I couldn't see what you were saying (three seperate "A acts as B" statement). Commas might have helped.

Volume, channel and digits are working.

I checked several sources of data on Orion devices and they use different IR protocols from one model to the next. I'm not sure whether it's all one company, but in any case I think most of the Orion devices are just some other brand of device rebranded. So I couldn't learn anything about your TV's codes from other Orion devices.

I checked my library of CCF files for those that match TV/0054 in basic commands, but don't match for the commands you mentioned (freeze, etc.)

There were many that fit, and they were European brand TV's, but they all had icons rather than names for those functions, so I can't guess most of the meanings, so I can't tell which might match your TV.

You may need to try all the possible commands, in order to find the right EFCs for your TV.

128 of the 256 possible EFC numbers are commands for the same device number, but if you're using the regular test process for EFC numbers, it might be even harder to sort out which 128 are worth testing, than to test all 256. If you're creating wav file for testing, then you can use KM in OBC mode so it will sort out the EFC numbers and you'd need to test at most 128 (there's a good chance all the commands are in the first 64).

In that EFC list I linked before, the EFC numbers are spread over a wider range, but two EFC numbers that differ by any multiple of 256 are really the same, so if you want to test all 256 possibilitities, that can be done with any contiguous sequence of 256.

Pip is definitely defined in my remote.

I'll try more EFC numbers...
I've already found some functions like the service screen etc. that were not on the original remote....
