RM, any way to load builtin device codes?

Post by bgc99 »

Is there any way to load the builtin device codes into RM (or anything else) so you can see what codes are assigned to what buttons? Or, do you just have to punch all the buttons to see what they do and then look up the codes individually?

Thanks,

All of the JP1 tools are designed to work with the contents of the EEPROM only. None of them can get to the contents of the firmware and codes stored in the remotes ROM.

The devices4 spreadsheet contains most of the setup codes from the 15-1994 (making it somewhat outdated). If you have a speicific setup code you want to know about, you can see if there's an Advance Code list available for it.
