Extender for Original ReplayTV remote?

I would like to put macros on the unshifted device buttons. I understand that many remotes have extenders devised by clever folks that allow this. Has anyone built such an extender for the original Replay/Showstopper remote? My family is *really* addicted to the hard keys that are so well-tailored to the Replay, so moving them to one of the newer, extender-rich remotes would be difficult.

Thanks!

What is the model number of the Replay remote you have. There is an extender for the 5000 series but I am not sure what other models it may work with.

Nils, it is the original Replay 20xx/30xx unit. I use OEM3OEM (ReplayTV Version1).rdf to do the minor proramming right now.

It looks like this: http://www.iwantptv.com/images/replay/Remote.jpg

Does this help?

In my home theater I use a RS/1994 with great success, so I think that I can move forward once an extender is identified.

Thanks for your help!

Well, I confirmed that the extender that is available will not work with yours.

I am not sure if anyone is in a position to write an extender for your version unless someone has an extender and I can't find it.

Your only alternative if you need the functionality of an extender is your 1994 or pickup a 6131 modified from Rob. The 6131 does have an extender and is an excellent remote for your purposes.
