JP1 Remotes

I can't seem to figure out what that macro is for. There is no device specified in the macro. I thought maybe it called any of the Phantom3 keymoves depending upon what device was last specified or maybe all of them. However, it doesn't work that way for me, at least not on my 8910 extender. So what's its purpose?

I guess the best person to answer this question is Paul (e34m5) as it's his file, but here's what he seems to be doing.

If you look on the Keymoves tab, you'll notice that he's programmed a LKP to Phantom3 in each mode that appears to send the POWER button for the device in question. He then programmed a macro to the POWER button that invokes the Phantom3 button.

Of course, that promts the question: why not just program the LKP to the POWER button itself, you'll have to ask Paul that.

I did that so that the power works for what ever device you are currently on (Short press). Then the long press is there to turn everything off regardless of which device had been previuosly selected.

Notice the the Long part of Ph3 is identical in every case. If I did a LKP to th power button alone then the regular power for each device woould not work as I wanted.

Thanks you two. That's what I thought it did, but when I tried it on mine, it didn't work. Maybe I did something wrong. I'll try it again. Anyway, thanks for the clarification.
