Hi,
Using Slingbox M1
To get a remote, I have tried the Technisat Digicorder HD-S2 , it works not properly but lots of options are missing (such as accessing the hard drive ) the basic buttons (channel up/down) work but I cant find the exact model in the list.
https://www.technisat.com/en_XX/TechniC ... 904-10127/

TechniCorder ISIO STC is a cable/SAT-receiver.

Beside this: can you add 'Austria' in country configuration of 'Composite' and as cable manufacture 'UPC'
http://www.upc.at/

Thank you in advance!

OK, I've had a look at this and produced a remote. My main concern is that the function List/DVR, which I assume is the one you are missing, transmits the same code as the Stop button, which doesn't make sense.

Give it a try and let me know: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=13949

And I'm not sure what you mean by the last statement. That is only something Sling Media can change not us. But that selection is ONLY for the built-in Program Guide, which isn't supported in Austria so there is no pint in adding it. Just tell it you are in the USA, add a valid ZIP code (90210 ?) and that your TV Provider is not listed.[/quote]

Thank you for your fast help. It’s really amazing. Everything is working now and I am deeply impressed by the Slingbox and of course of your support.

And last but not least of the nice guy of the hotline! Cheers!

with kind regards!
Thomas

Good. Although remember no-one on here has anything to do with Sling Media, we are just users like you who are happy to help others.

OK. I understand that.
Just a last question. You sent 2 files:

V2010_PL.bin, it worked immediately with my Win10 system. And the remote control does everything I expected.

V2010_RV.bin, I got a failure message (Invalid Custom bin file). Not really matter, I just wanted to understand and report you.

Did you not read the installation instructions? That is explained in there.
