The remote has a single button for power and a single button for remote
It has one optical input and one analog (stereo) input.
I added it to my Harmony 650 and it has what appear to be the discrete
inputs but no discrete power.
I can’t try the Harmony now because I don’t pick up the sound bar until
tomorrow (Saturday)

Once you get the sound bar and make a JP1 upgrade for it, you can test all the unused button codes to see if it supports discrete power codes

No need for discretes. Like most sound bars, it has auto on/off.

I have LG NB4530A and I've found discrete codes for power on and power off for it.

For power on: 248 (OBC) / E0 (hex)
For power off: 249 (OBC) / 60 (hex)

I don't know if it's going to work with LAS454B, but I've compared my findings to the upgrade file for the one in question and most of the functions line up, so there's a chance.

Also please be careful when going through all the OBC codes with these LG soundbars (with BT wireless subwoofer) because there are some service functions which mess with the pairing. I've had a really hard time to get it back to work (the standard pairing wouldn't work) and I still don't know what exactly fixed it.

--- edit ---

I still need to prepare an upgrade file so I don't have one to share yet, but here are all my findings:

Code:

22 - Vol-
23 - Vol+
28 - Auto Volume
30 - Power
31 - Mute
47 - Equalizer (cycle through sound modes)
49 - Input Optical
53 - Equalizer (cycle through sound modes)
59 - Input USB
98 - DRC
102 - Subwoofer level
125 - Input Portable
138 - Input select
145 - Input ARC
147 - Auto Power Toggle
163 - Info
182 - Prev Input
184 - Input HDMI In
194 - LCD Off/Dimm/Timer
217 - AV Sync
224 - APWR Off

4 - Play
5 - Stop
6 - SkipBack
7 - SkipFwd
12 - Folder Up
13 - Folder Down
65 - 1
66 - 2
67 - 3
68 - 4
69 - 5
70 - 6
71 - 7
72 - 8
73 - 9
75 - 0
78 - Repeat
79 - Play/Pause

248 - Power On
249 - Power Off
251 - Subwoofer Remate/Stop

225-233 - MP ID (something with subwoofer) - POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!!!
234 - WL Reset - POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!!!
239 - BT MP
240 - ??? - POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!!!
241 - Speaker test
247 - Shows @@@@@@@@@@ and Power off
250 - WL Reset - POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!!!

Codes are decimal OBCs. The functions annotated as potentially dangerous may cause issues with subwoofer.

Hi Marcin,
Thanks for posting those OBCs, but of course they're useless without knowing the protocol and device code(s). I just did a quick scan of other LG soundbar upgrades and I see that they use NECx1 with device code 44 and sub-dev 44. Is that what yours uses?

Also, I think it's better to post an incomplete device upgrade and then update it later, than to not post and possibly never get around to it, so I have loaded an upgrade here:

I also combined your codes with all the others that I found in the LG upgrade files to come up with the following master list:
