I am learning. Need help with EFCs/advanced code. Question...
Where do I find discrete advanced codes. I am using a UEI remote. Is there a place on the jp1 forums website that I can type in a brand name, and the type device, and it will show me the the setup code for the device in my UEI remote, and all the advanced codes for that device that exist in my UEI remote? Thanks in advance.

I don't know if there is a clearer description than what mdavej gave you the other day.
We have upgrades in our file section, you can look at those trying to find a code.
You can setup choosing a setup code from the manual or doing a code search with the remote, and then look up what efcs the setup code uses for the various keys, and plug them in to RM and have the OBC values calculated for you.
Basically once we know what setup code or what kind of signals you need we can do just about anything.
Lots of us have learning remotes or widgets to analyze signals. If we don't recognize them we can coax the remote into sending it anyway. The tools are pretty cool. |
