1. What model Slingbox do you have? -> Slingbox solo

2. Was there any error message after you typed in the Code and tapped the Test button?　 －＞ｎｏ，　ｏｎｌｙ　ｎｏ　ｒｅｓｐｏｎｓｅ　ｗｈｅｎ　Ｉ　ｃｌｉｃｋ　ｔｈｅ　ｂｕｔｔｅｎ

3. Did you give the commands plenty of time to react? (I have a DVR that takes about 6-8 seconds to power up/down)　＾＞　ｙｅｓ，　ｉｔ‘ｓ　ｓａｍｅ

4. If you are using a Solo did you try both BIN files?→　ｙｅｓ
5. After completing the setup do any of the buttons work?　－＞　ｎｏ　ａｎｙ　ｂｕｔｔｏｎ

6. If you are installing on a Solo or Pro-HD or older box that uses an external IR Blaster, have you used a Digital Camera or Mobile Phone Camera to confirm the IR Blaster is actually firing when you tap the Power button? (Watch the tip of the IR Blaster through the viewfinder while you tap a button. You should see a white (not red) flash. Test it on a real remote so you know what you are looking for). If you are using a 350/500 have you tried using the external blaster?　－＞　Ｎ／Ａ

7. Have you experimented with the placement of the IR Blaster? On some devices this is critical so don’t give up too quickly. Try shining a flashlight at the front of the receiver and see if you can see the IR receiver behind the smoked glass.　ー＞　ｙｅｓ

Q6 is not N/A, it is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL you check the IR Blaster is firing, or we are both wasting our time.

And ALL Slingboxes use the same BIN file, so if it works on your Classic it will work on your Solo. Which again points to the IR Blaster.

OK, you have a hardware problem then, nothing to do with the Custom Remote. Check all the cables are properly seated.

I change a new IR CABLE and test In classic ,it's can switch channel now, but not flash light when I view via camera.

When I switch to solo, still can not switch channel, also no flash light . Can you please help me what's problem I have.

Sorry, no. I know that all Slingboxes use the same BIN codes so if it works on your Classic then it must be correct. I have no idea why it doesn't work on the Solo (unless you are installing the wrong BIN file ?

Yoiu say you have tried both files, but also reported no error messages ? That cannot be true, one of the BIN files will report as Invalid.

We can do this but ONLY if Sling have already designed the image for you. So if you can find a built-in remote that displays the correct image, even if it doesn't work, then I can do it for you.
