Is it possible to program the Xfinity X! remote (version U2) to control a Samsung Soundbar (model HW-H550)? Comcast does not publish any codes for soundbar audio devices? Looking for a 5-diget code but am willing to learn how to program manually, if I know it can be done.
Thanks for you help - I am new to this board.

AFAIK, there isn't any Samsung36 48.0 built into the remote, so the only way to accomplish this is with a cable.BillJZ wrote:Is it possible to program the Xfinity X! remote (version U2) to control a Samsung Soundbar (model HW-H550)?
None of the uei remotes that i know about have a code that can operate the bar without adding one via cable.Comcast does not publish any codes for soundbar audio devices? Looking for a 5-diget code but am willing to learn how to program manually, if I know it can be done.

Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Thanks for the correction. I thought this would be a newer 3 device remote, didn't realize it was one that can't do more than control TV power and volume.
