downloaded, extracted, etc. over-wrote .67 since it had a known bug.
.67 took a long time to open, looked like it wasn't gonna, so re-double clicked a few times. Ended up finally 3 copies opened. However, with .68 I can't get it to open. .66 still opens ok, maybe a 10 second wait. .68 even after a 2 minute wait nothing comes up. Running 98SE if that matters. Anyone else having problems getting .68 to open. I've tried half-dozen different ways, and no cigar.

Opens and runs fine for me (Win98SE).

Open rmaster.err in NotePad and look at the end for a stack trace. It should help me pin-point the problem.

Strange....looks like a problem finding the RDF directory.
Try erasing RemoteMaster.properties.

Going into RM.propeerties did the trick. I deleted (erased) all the entries referring to upgrades made with .67, as well as any other references to .67. (Not worried about losing the upgrades, have a copy in .66, upgrades folder anyway). It appears that RM was trying to use .67 rdfs and upgrade files, when they were either deleted or overwritten. The suggestion of WHERE TO GO did the trick, thanks Greg. It now opens fine, and a quick check seems to indicate it's working ok. I'll know more later when I try to make an upgrade, but at least now it does open.

Thanks Greg.

RemoteMaster doesn't like it if you fiddle with the directory structure after you install it. If you do things like that, you need to update RemoteMaster.properties to reflect those changes.
