is the 8910 capable of having macros on a device select button without using an extender, or must an extender be used?
I want to be able to hit say the DVD button and have that button send the discrete device code for HDMI1 to my TV so that i don't have to manually switch over the TV input to DVD everytime, can i do this without an extender? If so where do i look for how to do this?
Alternate question... i see that extenders are reset by changing batteries, does this mean that every time my batteries run out i have to re-enable my extender? |

I'm glad you got it figured out while the rest of us were sleeping. Extenders make the remote pretty flexible. They are a little frightening at first, but they more than make up for that with the features they add. |
