My remote apparently can't learn my air conditioner power on and power off buttons (it's the same button but has 2 different codes alternating every time you press it).
Even if I learn it on the remote, then pressing the button doesn't power on/off the a/c .
Strangely, if I do that many times, it always learns the same thing. (one for each function)
The remote is an "r11hg/e" model.

I wonder if there's a protocol somewhere..
wrongly learned codes are:
Code: | 0000 0069 0032 0000 00B1 00B1 001A 003D 001A 0013 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 003D 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 003D 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 0013 001A 003D 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 003D 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 003D 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 0013 001A 003D 001A 0013 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 0013 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 003D 001A 00B8 |

A/C signals are typically very long because they encode all the settings in each signal (ie, fan speed, on/off, temp, etc) as this allows them to give you a visual readout on the remote without really having a bi-directional signal between the A/C and the remote. So this is a case where you really need an IR Widget (or something similar) to capture the full signal. However, in this case you appear to have captured a clean 48-bit signal so I'm not sure why it's not working.
Could you use a digital camera (or cell phone) to look at the IR emitter on the A/C remote to see if it continually sends a signal when you press a button or does it stop after sending the initial signal, even if you keep holding the button down?
Also, just FYI, we would much rather see your original IR files in cases like this. You don't need to use DropBox either as we have a file section that you can add files to. The Diagnosis Area folder is specifically there for files like this.
Btw, is r11hg/e the model number of the A/C or the remote?
Here are the two learns in binary format:
+4500 -4500; 10110010 01001101 00011111 11100000 01001000 10110111; +500 -4500
+4500 -4500; 10110010 01001101 01111011 10000100 11100000 00011111; +500 -4500 _________________ Rob

It's the model of the remote. if you google for it you'll find it's used in many a/c (different brands probably with bosch main unit).
(I included a picture of the remote) |

I looked at your picture of the remote and I found others online that also showed additional buttons under a sliding door. What is the model number of your A/C unit? _________________ Rob

yes. sure there are many other buttons. I was just trying to "learn" the on/off button.
I don't know the model number. But it's not important. That remote is used by many models of different brands (probably is just rebreanding).
Mine has an italian name but I repeat: it's just a bosch a/c with a common IR remote.
I have two different a/c and they both have the same remote vene if they are different brands.
Brands mean nothing. |

But the brand IS important. When this code surfaces again under a different name other than Bosch from one of your fellow countrymen, it is nice to know that we've already worked the issue, and can provide a faster response. |

I have 2 of them on one there is no brand (probably I removed the sticker) on the other one there is a transparent sticker with the name EcoFlamClima.
Believe me.. thoise are not 'brands' but resellers of bosch bulk units. |

Anyone figured out how to configure/create a protocol for these? |

In order to create an executor we would need to see a full set of working learns, in an IR file. You said these learns don't work, so even if we re-created them with an executor, that wouldn't work either. _________________ Rob

Hello, I'm new in this forum.
Anyone know which protocol uses this control? I think it's similar to NEC protocol but with different bit times.
I think it's a 48 bits frame but i don't know which represent every bit. Anyone know what represent the data frame?
Sorry about my english, it's very bad.
Thanks |
