I'm afraid this box uses the same IR protocol as the 1920, 1903... and we have not been able to decode it. But apparently the Kreatel 1510 IPTV uses the same codes and this one is supported by the Slingbox. |

Alan, is this the protocol we are talking about?

If so I can decode it and get you an upgrade tommorow. For some reason, today I'm seeing the pattern.

According to my very disjointed notes, the Kreatel 1510 (also 1760?), and Motorola 1910/1960 all use Zaptor device 16, subdevice 0. Unfortunately at different times both 37 and 57KHz have been used.
Here's a rmdu file for the Motorola 1960, based on some learns that eferz grabbed from his Harmony.
But it's hard to know if this relates to the OP. |

No idea as you missed the last bit of the URL But it probably is, I have submitted the ICT file for the Motorola 1910/1960/1853... a couple of times but no-one has ever been able to decode it (IRScope comes up with <unknown> not Zaptor). Quite happy to do it again if necessary, there are more and more users of Slingboxes complaining they cannot get these devices to work. |

I corrected the link to this.
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10778
That is where alan posted asking for a decode and provided IR learns.
I was having a real moment of clarity this morning, or what seemed like clarity. But then I couldn't even post the link properly.
This morning it looked like it was another quad-phase code, like 3FG figured out for a few weeks ago.
Now I am not so sure, it all looks like jibberish now. |

Alan,
I've searched, but I don't find any ICT files (other than the eferz one that decodes as Zaptor) for the Motorola 1910/1960/1853. Do you think you could post a link, or (sigh) redo the work of learning them again? |

Alan,
These can be decoded, and they look like a version of CanalSat, except that the duration of the bits is 640 uSec instead of 500 uSec. So please go ahead an learn all the signals. The executor should be trivial to modify so that it sends the longer duration. |

OK, file updated with a full set of learns.
HOWEVER, ignore the comment about Motorola VIP 1910/1960, I have just looked at the Hamrony database and they are now showing a possible remote for those that does indead use the Zaptor-56 (-56?) IR protocol. So that ICT file is ONLY for the 1853.
I'll build a test remote for the 1910 and see if anyone will test it. |
