JP1 Remotes

Blu-ray players LG BD670 and Sony BDP-S580

Hi and happy new year everyone!

I have scoured the file section for upgrades for either of these two Blu-ray players and could not find any files that had been tested on either of these.

If someone has a suggestion for what upgrade to try for either of these I would appreciate it!

I am looking to purchase one of these but want to have the best chance of easily using JP1 remote!

All LG and Sony BD players use the same codes. So any of the more recent blu-ray upgrades for each brand like THIS and THIS will work fine.

Sure. Also wanted to note that the Sony 580 is exactly the same as the 58, so the upgrade I linked will be an exact match. The LG upgrade linked should be very close if not exact.
