This TV will not respond to any remote control commands. Another universal remote will not control it either. The TV can be operated by the buttons on the side but this only gives limited functions eg volume channel etc.
The Toshiba remote itself appears to be working when viewed with a digital camera. I suspect a fault in the IR sensor in the set itself. Does anyone have any advice about how I might progress further. I live in Panama Central America so return to dealer / manufacturer etc is not an easy option !!
