Hi

I have a Slingbox solo with a Humax 9150T and wondered if anyone has a better remote to use that the default 9200 I am using at the moment?

Problems seem to be:

- record button doesnt work?
- skipping 2 places when using the up or down button for options

Thanks!!

Have you looked at our File Section for Humax. I believe Alan Richey built quite a few of them over the years and some of them may resolve the issues.

Ok, I have revisited this Custom Remote. The good news is that I found the Blue/Yellow buttons were reversed, the Harmony profile had a lot more functions available so I added about 12 extra functions and I was able to set the repeat value to zero to avoid the 'double-skipping'. The bad news is that the Record button code is correct.

Have a try with the new version at http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=10997

Hi Alan

Thanks SO much for your help with this.

To confirm before I change anything, is the record button the same with no changes?

When I click the record button nothing seems to happen?

Thanks

Lee

Can't explain that, this remote has been used by over 100 people and you are the first to have this problem.

And the List function is Custom 13, as it says in the instructions Laughing

You read the instructions Very Happy Although I accept that applies only to the standalone Slingplayer. If you are using the Web Player then right-click on the remote.

I can only repeat what I said in my last post "..If you are using the Web Player then right-click on the remote...".

Have you not tried that ?

Hi Alan

I am so sorry to hassle you but could I ask one more question?

It seems that I may be recording programs on the PVR but I can access the list of programs recorded.

Do you know where this button is on the slingbox standalone player control?

The easiest way of selecting a recorded programme to watch is to press (Play
list, which is under the slide-down cover at the bottom of the remote controller).
You can select which recording you want to play using the Cursor▲ or Cursor▼.
Press OK to play the highlighted recording.

....the play list?

Thanks so much, regards Lee

Sorry, but you obviously don't understand what I am doing here. I have no idea what any of these devices look like. All I get from the database is a list of available functions for a given device, and what IR code is needed. I map those functions to the correct button and build a binary file to be downloaded tithe Slingbox. If a function does not have a natural button on the basic remote image then I add it to the Custom List. So in your case, EVERY function that is in the database for 9150 has been included. So, if it isn't obvious from the instructions which function you need then othe only thing you can do is test each of the Custom Bustoms and see if they carry out the operation you want. If none of them work then the function you need has not been specified in the database. In that case the only solution is to try and find it by trial and error. But that an get quite challenging and you need to be very computer-literate. Are you ?
