Keymove code

Post by JohnParks »

I am tring to incorporate the following learned functions from a urc-8811:

Protocol: Panasonic
Device: 0
Sub Device: 148
L1/L2
OBC: 52/53
Hex Cmd: D3/53
EFC: 148/152

into urc-6131_Ext1, ReplayTV-1614 (Advanced) v8.06.

Is this possible or would I need to do some kind of phantom device in an ir keymove?

You can't mix apples and oranges. ReplayTV responds to two completely different types of signals. One uses the RC6a protocol (aka ReplayTV protocol) and the other uses the Panasonic protocol.

The upgrade you linked to uses the ReplayTV protocol, whereas the signals you learned use the Panasonic protocol. You can't mix the two.

Just FYI, the two EFCs that you learned are the CH+ and CH- buttons, which are already part of your upgrade file.

There are two functions that can only be created using the Panasonic protocol, those being BYPASS (154) and TV/DVR (150). If you want to create those functions with your current upgrade, you can create keymoves using the built in VCR/0616 setup code.
