If you widen your window and still don't see those Other settings, then you need to get the latest RDFs. It's definitely there.

Are you using an old Beta IR. I remember this being an old bug.

Upgrade your software.

Move your mouse up and down just above General Notes. When the cursor changes to up/down arrows with a double line in the middle, left-click and drag down to reveal the top panel you've somehow hidden.

vickeyg: Thanks. I'll try that.

mdavej: Nothing hidden. Double line won't pull down.

When you click on Help > About what version number does it give you? If it's anything less than 8.03 you are using an old version.

The spot where the panels meet (and can be resized) is not just above the "General Notes" panel, it is between the wide "Upload" and "Download" buttons and the tabs.

Carefully position your cursor there and it will change shape to a double arrow, pointing up and down. Do you get that?

Then you can click-hold-drag that panel border downward.

The Capn's correct, I was able to make my IR screen look like Harry's, and then I made it big again, by dragging the invisible resize line.

When you hover above the UPLOAD button, look for the cursor arrow to change into a symbol like this:

mdavej: I can get the cursor to switch to double line indicator between the General Tab heading and the Upload and Download tabs. However, I cannot pull down anything. As one of the earlier posts said, they think my version has a bug.

Robman: my version is 8.00, and the note under that says that the Learned Signal Decoder: DecodeIR (Version 2.36)

I'll download the latest version and see what that gives.
Thanks.

Robman: In my ver 8.0 I did get the double line you show in your last post, but there is nothing to expand. I am familiar with the double line, ala Excel and other pgms, but there is nothing to grab onto with the left mouse button.

This is moot, anyway, 'cuz I downloaded 8.03 and now IR looks so much more interesting!!! Now I have device buttons above the Upload Download tabs.

Thanks to vickyg, Robman and dave for your help. Now I'll cloister myself in my den and see if I can make use of all those delicious new buttons.
