Centrex CTDV100 (Coship CDVBT1350B rebadge)

Post by NEC1 »

1. Device: Centrex CTDV100
2. Type of device: Digital Terrestrial Receiver
3. Year: 2005
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: URC-7562 B00
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? Yes
6. Still have original remote? Yes (with cloned function list)
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? No
10. Learning remote question? n/a

I have a working remote, but I want to cross-reference it to a Setup Code.
The protocol is NEC1 with Device 4, Subdevice 186, No Parameter (search at http://www.getzweb.net/jp1/ found no codes)
"The best thing possible to do with knowledge is to share it".

As you pointed out there is no official Nec1 Device 4 subdevice 186 combination, nor any combo code that I could find. (of course this is me searching so that doesn't necessarily mean it is there).

I also did a brand search on Centrex, to see if there was any mysterious executor that might be sending this signal.

So you are not going to be able to cross reference this into a regular setup, but have you tried the standard Centrex STB upgrades to see if they work? I'm finding its really not unusual for equipment to respond to more than one signal. I have at least two devices, that the setup code that I had picked out of the book, didn't match what the OEM remote was shooting.
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.
