I have posted version 0.02 of jp1usb.dll. This incorporates a port of the code added to libDelcom.pas by Dave Reed to provide IR.exe with support for the WinUSB driver for the Delcom chip. This new version of jp1usb.dll provides this support also for RMIR. Just replace your existing version of this dll. No other change to RM or RMIR is needed. This dll is not used by IR.exe.
I have tested it with both the Delcom and WinUSB drivers under 32-bit Vista and with the Delcom driver under Win2K. It still needs testing under a 64-bit OS and with any systems that proved to be fussy when Dave was developing the code. I should be pleased to receive test reports in this thread.
It is not an error that version 0.02 of jp1usb.dll is 73KB in size while its predecessor, version 0.01, was 513KB. The huge size of version 0.01 appears to have been due to it being compiled with MinGW. This usually gives a smaller binary than compiling with MS Visual C++ with the static library option, but for some reason, with this file it gives a much larger binary. If version 0.02 is compiled under MinGW, the binary is 523KB. My testing with Win2K suggests that there is nothing missing from the posted binary that is needed for older versions of Windows, but if anyone gets a message such as "unable to find xxx.dll", or anything else that suggests an inability to load this dll, then please post the message here. _________________ Graham |
