Problem creating new macros with RMIR

I have a Radio Shack 2116 remote with extender 2. When creating a new macro the DEV_* commands aren't listed as possible selections. The macros that had those commands (created by IR) show up fine in the list however. These are not physical buttons on the remote and maybe that is where the problem lies.

Side note 1.98b6a gives me overflow messages when loading my rmir file. 1.93 does not.

RMIR determines which buttons are allowed to be used in macros by the way the buttons are defined in the RDF, so please make sure you've got the right RDF.

Also, please provide a link to your rmir (or ir) file. You can upload it to the diagnosis folder.

I have the most recent rdf from the main package from here. Version 1.28.

I have uploaded the file to the diagnosis area.

I am just checking to see if anyone has had a chance to look into this. I realize this is a busy time of year so hopefully I'm not being too pushy.

Thanks!

I'm not a software expert, and cannot necessarily help you get this working with RMIR, but... I can assure you that the DEV_XXX commands all are available in the macro build dropdowns in IR.exe, so while you wait for someone to fix RMIR, you can certainly do whatever you need to do with your remote using IR.exe.

Please try RM v1.98beta7.
