Teac-K protocol on Samsung remote - generating discretes?

Hi
I have spent three weekends trying to understand this so any help would be appreciated!!
I have a Samsung Receiver (AV-R710) and want to generate a full set of discrete codes to test. I am looking for discrete power on and power off keys.
I have used IRTool with DecodeIR.DLL to decode signals from my remote and it returns...
Protocol : Teac-K
Device : 0.4
OBC: 0
EFC: 181
I tried to use Makehex to generate a full set of discretes. There is no input file for Teac-K, although I have discovered that the protocol is a variation on Kaseikyo protocol so I used that, but the codes generated did not work.
I think I need to change the makehex parameters in the Kaseikyo.irp file but thats where I get stuck.
Can anyone help or show me another way of generating a full set of discrete codes?
many thanks
Bill
