extender for comcast DVR JP1.3

Post by unclemiltie »

I'm working on this one as well. Figured I may as well round out most of the common JP1.3 remotes, no? (I am really a sick, sick person!)

Anyway, it's about ready to go. I don't have one, so I need one brave individual to be the subject to test that activation and deactivation work right. Once that's done, everything else is just a regular bug....

PM me if you're interested

I'll check when I get home, but I might have a couple of these lying around that I could loan to a tester. What's the signature I'm looking for?

Best,

I have 2 comcast remotes both with signature cs301009; ones a 1057 and ones a 1067. I need to exchange my DVR (it's beginning to flake out) and I'll check for one of the newer remotes. Both of these say JP1.2 next to the pin header.

It's really the luck of the draw. When I had Comcast here I had a JP1.3 3039, but my neighbors have the 1067A JP1.2 remote. If you really want the JP1.3, you have to convince the nice person at Comcast to let you look and get the one you want when you're in their store.

Of course, they will not even begin to understand why you want it and will tell you over and over that they're all the same.....

Good luck!
