I used to use a Tommy Tyler cable for years since the connector fits through the hole in the remote case. When that failed I switched to what I have now, with six separate pin connectors held together with black insulating tape. It's a mess.
If anyone knows of a cable which works the same way as the Tommy Tyler one I wold love to know about it. I did search but found nothing suitable.
Any suppliers of JP1.x cables which fit a URC-7555?

Tommy has designed many cables, so simply saying your old cable is one of his, doesn't narrow things down much. Anyway, your URC-7555 is a JP1.2 remote, so it will work well with FTDI FT232RL cables, which is probably what your cable with the separate connectors is. If it's the connectors that you have an issue with, it's simple to replace the 6 individual connectors with a single 2*3 connector. However, you can't typically buy just 1 connector, you'll have to buy a lot.
