I am new at this.
My remote is a URC-8910B00
I uploaded the raw diagnostic file here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=27149
I click the download button from remote
I selected both the old 8910 and the new 8910 and get the same following error msg:
Error Downloading from remote:
This may well be the result of a bug in the RMIR software.....
Software version of RMIR is 3.1.11
Any help would be appreciated.
I am getting "Error Downloading from Remote

Hi JoJo, since you haven't posted since 2012, we could use some more information as a lot has changed since then. For starters, what sort of JP1 cable are you using? The URC-8910 requires an older style EEPROM cable, which originally came as parallel port cables. But since the parallel ports disappeared a long time back, maybe you've got a replacement cable since then.
If you have a more modern FTDI cable, those don't work with old EEPROM remotes like the URC-8910 without an adapter.
Back in 2012, you were probably using IR.exe, have you ever used RMIR before?

Yes I had success with IR.exe (Although that's not working either right now)
The cable I have is JP1 EEPROM from TXSat Electronics
It's a USB cable
Also when I click IR.exe and select Check Interfaces, that is successful.
I've been trying to use RMIR and I got the error that I posted above
I bought it from this website:
http://www.txsat.net/JP1_EEPROM.html
This worked with the IR.exe program back in the day.
I no longer have the driver cd that came with it.
I got the drivers from here which seems to have worked via the device manager....but now I am not so sure

I am able to open your file using IR.exe ok, but it crashes with RMIR. I've tracked the problem down to 2 spurious looking keymoves.
I have deleted those from this IR file and it opens OK with RMIR, but it is flagging the 2 macros as being not right.

Your only worry would be what those deleting items were supposed to do, but if you've long since stopped needing them, I wouldn't worry about it.
