Cisco AT6400

Post by jackching »

I purchased the AT6400 RC1534820/01B For Cisco Cable Box Remote Control RC1534820/04

Here are the photos:

Looks like we have the right connection points but they seem to be labelled different. I might need some help with the pinout.

I guess I'm a low hanging fruit kind of guy when it comes to JP1. When I see a low value, low functionality remote like this with no pins when there are a dozen others exactly like it with pins, I question whether this is worth everyone's effort.

The URC-6250BC0 is exactly the same. The URC-62440, URC-4031, URC-7820, URC-8820 are all very similar with the transport controls near the top. What do you like about this remote? Perhaps there are even more similar models that meet your requirements. You could also browse through the Images folder in Remote Master and see if there are others you like.

I had the URC-6250BC0 and really liked the feel and layout of it. I was the one who helped get the RDF for it. It didn't have the pins, I had to solder wires on. The URC-62440 looks like it has pins though.

If no one feels like helping me with the one I have, I may have to get the URC-62440. But like I said it wont take me long to stick 4 wires on there if they are the correct connections. I'm not seeing RX or TX connections though unless they renamed those.

It's going to be tough without RX/TX. Are you sure it's a UEI remote?

Ya I'm pretty sure this isn't UEI. That's what happens when you order stuff when you're drinking
