Greetings,
I've developed an IR transmitter for my old iPhone to power on my TV, and it works with a Vizio TV. However, I need a WAV file for my Emerson LC320EMX to utilize the clock feature on the phone and play a file to turn on the TV in the morning.
I specifically need an IR signal for power on/off.
What's the process for obtaining the appropriate IR code?
How can I use that code to create a WAV file, possibly with Audacity?

Your TV appears to be this device. From that file (you have to log in to download), we see that the power command is NEC1, D=132, S=224, F=32. You can now use IrScrutinizer to export that signal as wave. For example. fill in the parameters on the Render pane, select export pane, select Wave as export format (leave the parametes at their defaults, possibly select "Omit trailing gap"), click on "Export rendered".
