NEC N9083MD broken VCR

The VCR is loading the cassette, when activating PLAY, the Supply Roller Guide and the Takeup Roller guide, takes the tape in front as default but then they both immediately return back without taking the tape back, leaving it freely. It no longer plays. If i eject, it will crease the tape as it is not loaded back as supposed to. It does not even play. Rewind and Forward gives the same action. Here are pictures of the model:
