Is the XR2 remote a JP1 remote? If so, what is the model number or signature? _________________ Rob

The cable lock code on uei remotes is 982, enter if you get four blinks is unlocked, if you get two blinks it's locked. _________________ Edmund |

The XR2 is a UEI remote, but it does not have the JP1 pins. Never opened one up to see if it has testpads or similar. |

It looks like it's a single device remote when I Googled it looking for pictures. I assume it uses 2 setup codes, one for the STB and one for the TV volume buttons, is that right? And the issue is that when you program the cable code the volume buttons stop working the TV, is that right? _________________ Rob
