1946 Zenith 12H094E phono AM/FM console

Post by The Robman »

I just picked up this puppy for $50 on Facebook. It does power on but nothing else works, there's no sound from the radio and the turntable doesn't spin. I'd love to fix it up so if anyone has any ideas how to get started, please let me know. It has the 11C21 chassis.

I do have a cross-posting in the Antique Radios forum:

This appears to be a similar unit with slightly different stylings.

Actually, the turntable does spin, it just needed to warm up, but no sound.

Maybe you have to change the pterodactyl's beak? :)

ok ducky, I'll try that, lol.

But what I'll probably do is replace the capacitors.
