Thanks for the replies. Let me answer a few questions. Yes, when in KM I did change from 9910 to 6012.

As far as the old keymoves- this morning I started from scratch in IR. I loaded 3 upgrade w/ relevent protocols from KM. Still got something strange going on.

Example- In TV mode I tried TV/Video which should cycle through my inputs. Instead I got my TV A/V Memory DTV Sharpness. Checked KM and all keymoves in IP and it should be changing inputs.

Example- In TV mode I press enter Enter and TV A/V Memory DTV Bass. Again, I check KM tabs for buttons and keymoves as well as IR for an keymoves related to this button. It should be ENTER.

Something funky here. Probably just my newbness.

If you post both your KM file and IR file we can probably spot what you did wrong.

Your IR file has numerous problems. The first thing that LEAPS out at me is that you do not have the device upgrade required for the extender itself! You cannot simply use the extender RDF. You must also have the extender device upgrade (usually Device TV/1800 and Protocol 0180).

Therefore, you are never activating your extender, and any programming will be all messed up. Any further troubleshooting is moot until you properly install and activate your extender.

I see that somehow you have the 0180 protocol upgrade, but not the TV/1800 device upgrade. In fact, you have all of the Special Protocol upgrades but none of their related device upgrades. Since you do not use the special protocols in your setup, you may be able to delete those protocol upgrades.

Had you created your IR file in one of the two approved ways ("convert" an unextended IR file using Extinstall.exe, or create one from a "base" extended IR file provided in the extender zip file) you would not have this omission.

Additionally you're wasting upgrade space by having the same protocol upgrade loaded twice (0162).

Further, your notes indicate that protocol upgrade 0041 is a custom protocol upgrade for the CBL/1377 device upgrade, yet your CBL/1377 device upgrade does not USE that protocol, it uses the previously-mentioned 0162. You need to sort out what you're using for what.

I strongly recommned that you read the Extender FAQ before going any further down this programming path.
