Anthem Zone 2 & 3 volume increments

Rob helped me greatly enhance the functionality of the Anthem AVM upgrade (by "helped", I mean he did all the work) in this thread, but I am curious about a behavior with the volume +/- functions for Zones 2 and 3.
For the Main zone, the volume function adjusts in steps of 0.5 db, but with the new Z2 and Z3 functions, the volume is adjusted in increments of 1.2 db - so Z2 Vol+ will take the volume from -35.0 to -33.8, then -32.6, etc.
I didn't even realize Anthem was capable of anything other than the default 0.5 volume increment.
How is that controlled? I'd like to have all zones the same.
