Discrete Bass & Treble codes for Yamaha 3050 main zone

Hi, I'm trying to program bass and treble controls for a Yamaha 3050 AVR, I found a load of resources for Yamaha but they all have bass and treble discrete codes for zone 2 and zone 3 but never for the main zone.

I even rummaged through a control4 driver but that notes in the comments that discrete codes for tone controls are missing.

I've been through the whole Yamaha PDF codes library in case there's something in an old amplifier that documents it (and they didn't change it) but nothing I can find.

I've tried a few made up codes, looking for patterns but nothing useful yet, I don't think I understood the codes enough to know which ones are worth trying.

I find it hard to believe that Yamaha implemented discrete codes for the secondary zones and not for the main, they have to be in there surely?

So can anyone that understands the Yamaha scheme suggest what to try please? I have a URC6440 so I can try anything in the usual yamaha scheme.

I know tone controls are out of fashion but I think they have a lot of value.

Given how detailed Yamaha is with their extended code lists, I doubt that there are any secret discrete codes to be found, but if you're willing to go mining for them, I'll tell you how to do it.

Yamaha uses a goofy version of the NEC1 protocol where there are 4 possible OBC2 values for each OBC1 value. I have created a spreadsheet where I have listed all 256 OBCs for each of the 3 device code combinations that they use, and for each OBC I have listed the 4 possible OBC2 values and whether there is a known function that uses that combination.

Therefore, you can use this list to see where the gaps are. You'll have to use the NEC1-f16 protocol to generate these signals. I suggest programming a couple of codes first for functions that you know work, just so you know you're doing it right, then try the gap codes.

That's exactly the spreadsheet I was trying (and failing) to construct over the weekend.

I'm happy to put the work in to try to find this code, I think I found some that turn on the extra zones as I had to use the setup webpage to reset them afterwards. I also blew the fuse in my external amp switching it on and off rapidly with the trigger!

I think I'll be taking a backup and unplugging anything I can before I start this search.

I already have a NEC1-f16 config and I've tried the documented zone 2 tone controls, they work fine so I'm good to go.
