What does "does not accept doubled input" mean? You have a learning remote so you should be able to capture the signals from the Vu+ remote and then use the captured information to build a new upgrade. We can certainly do the last part for you if you don't know how.

Thank you @The Robman for your fast reply.
Yes I copied (by learning) plenty of buttons but when for instance I want to go to channel 11 or 22 or twice 'down'... (that's what I named 'doubled') the Xsight only send the first 1 or the first 2... the second push is not sent..
When the two digits are different (12, 13, 45,...) it's ok !
strange... can you help me please ?

That implies that the signal has a toggle bit. What that means is, every time a button is pressed, there is a single bit in the signal that changes. When you learn a signal, you capture the bit in one state which makes repeated presses of the same button not work. But that doesn't stop our tools from recognizing the signal and creating an upgrade to replace the learned signals.

If you post a copy of your RMIR file to the Diagnosis Area (in our file section), then post a link to it here, I will take a look.

I am very sorry, but I am a complete novice and when I open RemoteMaster.v2.10build7 in Admin mode on my Windows 10 pc, I do not see any command allowing me to download the connected Xsight memory...?

RMIR is the program that you use to download the remote's memory, not RM.

Hi @The Robman',
I managed to download and posted the rmir-file on following link:

http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=25930

Thanks for looking to it perhaps (I hope so !) to repair my 'toggle bit' problem with the Vu+ Zero satellite decoder.

So first off, good news, we already have an upgrade file for the VU+ Zero, and the codes in it match your learns. Plus it has several additional buttons not included in your learns:

Here is your RMIR file with the learns replaced with that upgrade. I noticed that you had learned the TV volume buttons in VU mode, so I deleted them and instead switched the Volume Punch Thru to TV in VU mode.

Thanks for following up, glad it works for you. If you have the time to read up on JP1, I think you'll find that your remote is even more powerful than you thought.

I have an ultimate question about the setup of my Xsight Light:

about 90% of the time the Xsight is set on Vu+Zero... would it be possible to combine ON-OFF for my Samsung TV and Vu+Zero on one touch (the Vu+Zero on-Off touch) ??? That would save me a lot of manipulations...

When you say "combine", do you mean that
a) you want the POWER button in VU mode to send the TV power INSTEAD of the VU power, like you did for the VU+Solo, or
b) you want it to send both together?

If it's 'a', you can learn the TV POWER on the VU POWER button.

If it's 'b', you could program macros that might help with this. See if the macro that I added to your file does the trick.

Sorry, @The Robman, but after a few days of trial I have to contradict my previous confirmation !...
The macro does NOT work as I expected; sometimes it works but most of the times it doesn't, or I have to push several times... and I had to come back to your previous setup file.
What I ment in my previous request is that I would be like to obtain that with one push on the ON/OFF of the Xsight (set on Vu+Zero) bot the Vu+Zero AND Samsung TV switch ON/OFF together...

Possible or not ? I don't know at all...

That is what the macro does, if it works sometimes but not always, what happens when it doesn't work? My guess is that only the VU turns on, not the TV, right? And what about when you want to power OFF, my guess is that it always works.

If that is the case, your TV probably requires a longer hold of the POWER button. We can do that. But, I don't know how long to make the hold, so I would rather that you do some experiments yourself.

1. Open the RMIR file using RMIR
2. Go to the Macros tab
3. Click on "power macro" and click EDIT
4. In the "macro keys" box, click on "tv samsung;power"
5. Over to the left, check the "hold?" box
6. Enter something in the "hold for (secs)" box, I would suggest 0.5
7. Click ok, then reload to your remote
