Hi,
My bedroom 6011's power button has finally died. All other buttons work fine. Is this a case of just mapping power to another functional button, or is it a common failure that opening up the remote can fix?
Thanks,
jeff

I assume you mean that the button has worn out. If you want to try fixing the button, you could open up the remote and see if there's any gunk on the PCB, and if there is, clean it with rubbing alcohol or similar.
More likely is that the base of the button post has lost it's conductivity. There are kits that you can buy to repair worn out buttons, but as it's just one button, you could try super-glueing some tin foil to the base of the button post. Others have done this and said that it works.
The soft fix would be to use keymoves to program another button to be the substitute POWER button.

the market these days is so wild and crazy. Who knows what it was reacting to. Usually it's moving before some event. So I'd interpret yesterday's performance as a move in favor of Obama's most impressive win! (that's my story and I'm sticking to it
)
