Hi all,
My first post...I am having a hard time understanding the process of loading the remote code for CW800s onto my Slingbox AV - IR 2.0. I've read through (and I think I'm following properly) the steps posted by the Robman via this link
http://www.slingcommunity.com/article/1 ... -Slingbox/
I have d/l remotemaster 1.86, and RDF's for ir & rm v 1.28 aswell as rm maps images 1.28 (all I could find that seemed to pertain).
When I click the RM.exe it opens and says no rdf just like the post, and then I click OK. This is where I have problems...I have stored the cw800 text file, and can browse to its location, but cannot change the "files of type" at the bottom of the "choose directory containing RDFs" window (once it pops up). No matter where I browse to, I cannot seem to access any files, and certainly cannot seem to open one for editing or conversion.
Am I completely lost here? What might be the first thing I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance...

It's not clear from your post whether you have RM looking for the rdf's in the right place yet. When you open RM, do you have a drop-down list of remote controls available in the "Remote" field (just below the "Description Field" and left of the "Device Type" field)?TonyScott wrote:Hi all,

If not, you have to find the Remotemaster.properties file and delete it. Then the next time you open RM, it will ask for the location of the RDFs again, and you have to browse to the folder where you have unzipped the RDF files. At this point, you are ONLY POINTING TO A DIRECTORY so no files will be displayed. After this, you should be able to select the correct remote (Slingbox XX) from the dropdown list.
