I want to give everyone an update, and pass along details of something I've discovered.
I read the Announcement regarding Remote Master 2.08 on the Software Forum page, and noticed that the new release "includes a new version of the jp12serial library," Thinking about that, I decided to replace my existing RM 2.07 with this new version. As suggested, I deleted everything except the Properties file, then extracted the new release into the existing RM folder.
Having completed the installation, I launched RM 2.08 from the desktop. Next, I reset the Remote Interface to Auto-detect (the setting that wasn't working for me before). You guessed it ... the "No Remotes Found!" error is gone. Auto-detect immediately recognized my remote. It appears that the problem I had was related to RM 2.07 and LM 19.1.
Hope this information is helpful. _________________ Jim |
