Electra Air Condition remote code

Hi,
All I need is to know the code. While pressing the ON button on my Electra AC remote, I manage to find the following :

Protocol 48-NEC, device 77, subdevice 178, OBC 248, misc = E=19

from here : http://irdb.tk/capture/

I used a photo diode connected to MIC input of my PC sound card.

But what is the code ? I need it for ZXT-120 Z-wave to IR converter

The mark, space numbers are :

Converted to binary, I get...

Each 2nd byte is the complement of the previous byte. Read in LSB format, the three code values are 77, 248 and 19.

You say you want "the code", what sort of "code" are you looking for? As this is your first post here, we don't know if you're a JP1 user or if you're looking for some other sort of code.

I'm not JP1 remote user still, I want to use your knowledge in order to choose the correct code to my ZXT-120 Z-wave to IR converter which is mainly aimed to Air Condition control.
The code list can be found here :

Although Electra AC is there , the code is not working.
I'm looking for a way to correlate this code list and the data you (and me) found by from actually reading the IR signal from the remote. Is there a way to so ?

As you can see, I can show you what your code looks like, but how would I know what any of the codes on that other list look like?

Your converter has learning. If none of the 5 built-in Electra codes work, why not learn?

I cross referenced the Electra codes shared with other brands. So other codes to try:

Thank you for the answers. Eventually I found my code. It is 491.
But, I'm wondering and want to help others with a problem of finding the AC IR remote code from decoding the IR signal. Is there a way to correlate :

Protocol 48-NEC, device 77, subdevice 178, OBC 248, misc = E=19

with code 491 ? Is this information is repotec propriety that they are not willing to share ?

Really want to know you opinion

That's very sad Sad I e-mailed Remotec, hopefully they will send send a file or a table that can help identify the code.

Can you say the same regarding TV remote controls. e.g. I want to use a universal remote control. So, press ON button the original remote, get the IR Signal from photo-diode connected to MIC input, decode ON button, extract the code , put the code in the universal remote.

Can this be done ?

Impossible. There is too much duplication and overlap of setup codes for a one to one association to a single command. But you can narrow it down quite a bit with the JP1 Master spreadsheet where we keep all known setup codes. But our code list only applies to JP1 remotes. Every universal remote maker uses different, proprietary and seemingly arbitrary code numbering.

But that's usually our last resort. It's much easier to just try a couple of codes from that TV brand family and vintage, or better yet, load one of our upgrades known to match.

If you were to capture all of the buttons from the AC remote, in the same fashion that you captured the ON button, I would be able to build a file of the codes, and even create a JP1 upgrade, which would help the next JP1 user who wants to control one of these AC units.

I didn't break it up into 8-bit chunks like last time because this one is 34 bits long, so it doesn't divide evenly by 8. When we only have one sample of a signal, we can't determine what the patterns are.
