|
|
Hello,
I tried to convert my learned keys to an upgrade several times, but I keep failing.
In the "Learned keys" tab, the codes are detected as "RC5".
If I try to directly convert them automatically, then I have to select a code. I choosed "RC-5".
The resulting update is broken and doesn't work.
How can I get a working update? Seems to be pretty hard to do... |

Post your RMIR file.
RC5 is probably going to require a combo protocol. So you'll have to convert in batches grouped by common device and subdevice values, then manually add all to a combo.
We probably already have an upgrade for the device you've learned. So post the make/model of that device as well. |

Thanks for offering your help, but after some trying, I managed to create a working update file.
Device is "Grundig CD 360"
I've also created a full update file for my Yamaha AV Receiver (model that isn't in your update database so far)
I'm also nearly done with a PKGBUILD for Arch Linux which properly creates a "Remote Master" package for installation. |

I can't seem to find it. Have you uploaded it? It looks like I'm the last one to upload a Yamaha AV receiver and that was well over w years ago! _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.
