Transferring URC-6440 RMIR file to/from OARUSB04G

Subject: New Samsung Q9F TV and URC 6440/OARUSB04G JP1 remotes

Hi again. For years we have been happily using the URC 6440/OARUSB04G with Samsung F8000 Tv as well as with a Sony Tv and find that their Extended JP1 setups also work fine for the later QF9 Tv, in fact miles better than the original 'smart' Samsung remotes, so the extra functions have become indispensible.

Four remotes are in use and after a year or so the remote buttons have become unreliable, so our stock of 6440s has been depleted and I needed to transfer the extended 6440 setup to the last spare OARUSB04G, which was a doddle with mathdon's instructions and saved hours of new fiddling:

6440 -> OAR http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=13644

OAR -> 6440 http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=13645

The brilliant OneForAll URC-6440 Simple 4 seems to be in short supply which is a great pity. Hope URC starts making some more soon!
