Hi. Yes I know. I was in a remote area with very crappy interntet.

I just tried both the C2010RV_RV.bin and the C2010_PL.bin and they both get stuck at "Downloading rmeotre sking..." 5%.

I put them in the following path: C:\Users\Public\C2010_RV.bin and C:\Users\Public\C2010_PL.bin.

Any suggestion?

Thanks in advance.
Pablo

Keep trying, that is an internet problem. And I suspect you aren't following my installation instructions ?

Hi,

I did follow the instructions. I am aware of the suggested path for the bin files.
Anyway, just to make sure I am following all recommended steps I put both files in C:\

So the path for both are:
C:\C2010_PL.bin and
C:\C2010_RV.bin

The C2010_RV.bin passed the test and I was able to download the standard remote skin. However, none of its buttons are clickable. I will try from a different computer later tonight but if you anticipate anything i am missing please let me know.

It seems OK to me. Are you saying you get an identical behaviour when you click on the Play/Pause buttons as you do when you click on any of the number buttons ?

Exactly Sad

I hit each button on the remote but all seem to be disabled.

Afraid I cannot explain that. Nothing is mapped to the Play/Pause buttons so I would expect those to be unresponsive, but the number buttons are definitely active.

I did the following test to make sure I am doing the right thing:

I went back and tried some remotes from the slingbox database and the buttons are active.

I also downloaded again the Coship N6750C from your site (JP1) just to make sure nothing has changed in my system since the last time I tested a custom. I confirmed that the buttons are active.

I notice that when I use the _PL file from either N6750C or N5266C-L the buttons are active but when I use the _RV from either the buttons are inactive.

Given that I have a Slingbox SOLO the file I am supposed to use is the _RV which is precisely the one that doesn't work.

I give up Sad

Thanks anyway for your patience and help!

Hi.

My Cable provider updated the cable TV box to a COSHIP N8776C. There is no remote for that model in SlingBox; however, I tried the N8760H but only the mute and volume buttons work.

I tried the custom N8760C and the N6750C without success (The _PL's buttons didn't work and I coudn't male the _RV work)

Just in case, I have a Slingbox SOLO. Any help/advise would be apprecaited!

Just FYI, your Slingbox will only use RV *or* PL files, it won't use both, so once you have established which type it does use, you will never need to even consider the other type again.
