Hi I'm just seeing whether the Okano LCD TV actually operates under a different make/brand as I cannot find any codes that remotely work, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This is the data from the original remote when operating in learning mode.

Power button i have 2 entries:

Protocol NEC1
Device 114
Sub-Device 221
OBC 89
EFC 233

Protocol NEC1
Device 114
Sub-Device 221
OBC 0
EFC 181

Select or ok button:
Protocol NEC1
Device 114
Sub-Device 221
OBC 92
EFC 228

1. Device: Okano LTV4200F
2. Type of device: LCD TV
3. Year: 2011??
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: URC-7562-b01
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? Yes
6. Still have original remote? Yes but in bad condition
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? No
10. Learning remote question? Yes
11. Have you tried the JP1 Lookup Tool? Yes, but codes didnt work

I'm not sure what you want to do here, but TV 2493 shoots NEC1 114.221. I don't think the OBCs will match your TV.

So you could make up several trial upgrades which span all 256 possible OBC for NEC1 114.221, or you could assign setup code 2493 and manually try all EFCs from 00000 to 00255.

If all the buttons on the original remote still work, the easiest solution would be to learn them all. Then we could build a complete upgrade. For power, I'd see which code you get twice in a row.

Thanks for your responses, just for my information how do you log the EFC's for a pre-programmed code such as TV 2493?

Thanks
