Just got the opportunity to trade my 14 month old Vizio (VX37LHDTV10A)for the new one (VO37LHDTV10A) at Costco. I see it has a completely different OEM remote. Does anyone have any experience with the new model? Did/will all the codes (and device code) change, or will my existing upgrade be compatible?

Those are exactly the questions that we should be asking you.

I probably won't make the swap for a few days. I did find out a few things. The remote supplied with the TV is a minimal single device remote. An optional remote (VR8 - $49.95) is universal (4 device), programmable, and a learner. It only has 49 keys.
There is a statement that it is compatible for all Vizio LCD, but I don't know whether it is with the same code or multiple codes...

But regardless, with your JP1 setup, you should have no trouble creating an upgrade for the new set if you find that it doesn't respond to your old upgrade.

100% compatible!
A different remote, revised input configuration, vastly improved sound, IMHO better picture, more picture control functionality, and best of all -$100 cheaper!
