Where else did you try? DIY is the only JP1 vendor active right now. Regular non-JP1 vendors won't have any JP1 parts.
I tried here http://www.issue-resolved.com/JP1Pogo.htm since that was the first link that came up with a search. They no longer have any in stock. There was another site but I never got a response from them (I guess no longer working?) I didn't see the adapter on DIYGadget before but when I asked just now they said they are out of stock as well.
I am having a hard time making time to get my web site up right now, but I have pogo adapters for the same price as above ($9.95) plus shipping and I have simple jp1 cables for $15.00 plus shipping. Just pm me or email me at sales@interfaceplace.com if you want one of these items. I also will have two more of the serial jp1 cables ready in about a week, if anyone is interested in those.

Rob,
Any plans to get more 8910's or 8811's in? What's a good equilvalent jp1.2 remote?

Best,
jeff

I doubt that I'll get any more URC-8811s because firstly it's discontinued so I can't get new stock, and it's been gone from the store shelves for so long that there aren't any store returned units out there either.

As for the URC-8910, it's still officially in production, so I am trying to get soe more, but I'm going to have to pay more for them, so I'm going to have to raise the price to $25, so I'm planning to buy them in much smaller quantities as I don't expect to sell them as quickly at that price.

None of the current US JP1.2 remotes are as good as those two models IMHO, but the URC-8820 is not a bad substitute.

Thanks Rob for the update. I'll keep checking the first post for when you have more 8910's. Best, jeff

What is the status on the little remotes. I see you only have a few 8011, 6011 remotes left. Are these going to continue to be available, or are they out of production. Also the 6131 remotes, are they going to continue to be available? I can't quite figure out which of these remotes I like the best. I wanted to hold off, getting more remotes, but seeing 1 and 2 left makes me panic.

AFAIK the 6011 and 8011 are out of production, as is the older 6131. I have about 4 or 5 "as new" 6131s left. I have just recently got a shipment of 6011 remotes but I haven't listed them yet as I haven't modified any of them yet, but if the 6011 meets your needs, I have about a dozen of them so you'll be OK. But if it's the 6131 or 8011 that you're looking for, you better snap 'em up while you can! :)

Which USB Driver to Use?

I just purchased a USB JP1 cable from DIYGadget. I am curious which USB driver to use, the one listed on the DIYGadget web site or the one listed on page 1 of this thread?

I noticed the USB driver listed on page 1 of this thread is more up-to-date than than the one listed on DIYGadget.

[Edit]
Looks like both are from Delcom and maybe only the .inf had only changed. Sorry to waste a thread.

He's looking for a learning remote so he can capture the signals from his OEM remotes in order to create upgrades for his Slingbox.

FedEx dropped off a bunch of boxes just as I was leaving for work this morning, which means that I have the URC-8910 back in stock, and I got a good deal on these so I have lowered the price to $19.

Once I've sorted out the new stock I will be listing some more remotes soon.

Hola! New user here, and I was hoping to find some help. I recently purchased a Panasonic PV-HS2000 ShowStopper off of Ebay for around a hundred dollars! Sounds great right? well there's no remote along with the unit, and I am desperately looking for one. If anyone knows who what where why or when I could find one, I would greatly greatly greatly appreciate it!!!!

Also if anyone has any tips for a new user on the interface, please let me know. Thanks a bunch!!!!!

Sure, I have the original ReplayTV remotes for sale, or if you'd prefer, I can pre-load the ReplayTV code into any of the other remotes that I have listed.
