You're done. All those files do is change the picture you see on the layout tab. They have no effect on the remote.

thanks. now i got it. i slowly figuring out how to do most of it. but i have a problem, like when im under buttons, on the left side all the buttons, some are RED not active and BLACK active, i want to activate some on RED but theres no way i can enable them.how?

and also under Layout. all i can see is all black active buttons, no RED and how to add some RED from Layout? it seems like there is no way we can add some RED buttons? thanks again.

for example, the denon you gave me i noticed that the OK button is RED color, and if i need that to activate what i am gonna need to do? i download also for my DIrect tv and the power button and OK button are on red, i need them to activate.

In the buttons tab, click and hold a red button and drag onto the empty space in the function column of the button you want to assign, then let go. Function is then assigned to a button and turns black.

Same thing for the layout tab except drag and drop onto a button that is not solid yellow. Press page- or page+ to show different LCD pages and access more buttons. On the LCD fill in all contiguous buttons before going to the next page. Blanks between LCD buttons are not allowed.

If you hover your mouse pointer over any red or black button, you get a tool tip that tells you exactly what to do.

On your DirecTV, drag and drop the red power to the Power button in the function column. Repeat for OK.

Simplest thing would be to upload your RMIR file.

For images, you have to upload to an image hosting site, then post a link with the Img button in the post editor here. Or just upload an image to our file section and post a link.

Sounds like you've simply run out of buttons. That's why I suggested 3 devices for the Denon (one for each zone) since it has about 360 functions, far more than the available buttons.

Great job. Yes now i figuredit out already. I just do it thru RMIR and from there i did all the changes and everything. You are very expert sir. Thanks a lot. Slowly but surely i am learning all this things. :)

hello guys, i already set up my NEVO C2 remote, with all of my gears, flashed all 4 different .RMDU files. and all of them works good. question, if i want to enable the ACTIVITIES with my remote, like i want to press just power button to turn all of my gears and turn power button again to turn off all my gears, how to do that? i tried it going to EZ/RC to set ACTIVITIES up but it wont do anything at all. activities cannot be access :( if someone can help me out, thanks in advance. :)

In Remote Master, go to the activities tab and make a new activity called Watch Movie, for example. Add commands to power on your TV and blu-ray player and to pick an input on your Denon (all input commands also turn on your Denon). At the bottom of the page assign each group of buttons to devices as desired. For my example, it would probably be best to assign volume to your Denon and all others to your blu-ray player.

Repeat for other actiivites like Watch TV and All Off, adding the appropriate commands for each.

Basically, you're just adding all the commands you'd perform manually.

MrMoody wrote:The last line is the (virtual) device buttons; I'm not trying to bind any macros/keymoves to them (it doesn't work anyway), and without the AllBind, they show up at the bottom of the Layout image, where you can drag non-functioning keymoves to them. This doesn't seem right to me.
This is finally sorted. There has been a lot of discussion behind the scenes. The situation which needed the use of AllBind in the way you considered wrong has now been handled in other ways. We agree with you that usage was unsatisfactory. I have now posted build 4 of RMIR v2.03 with the appropriate changes; please see this post for details and for a link to the new build.

Build 4 includes the revised RDF, Map and Image files for the Nevo C2 that you kindly supplied. However, in our discussions we saw no need to incorporate your changes to the RDF for the OARI06G into the official release version. You should now be able to use AllBind in your private version of this RDF to achieve the result you wanted, without it having any other side effects, but you will need to check in update files for future new builds of RMIR that we have not revised this RDF for other reasons. If we have done so then the RMIR update will overwrite your private RDF and you will need to make your changes again in the new version.

 I just discovered that you can indeed successfully add 18 devices to the Nevo C2. This causes a download error in RMIR unless the RDF is corrected to include devices 16-18 again.

In my defense, I never claimed it wouldn't do it, only asked if it should be changed. :)

Interesting :) . Would other experts care to give their views on whether this means that devices 16-18 should be added back into the RDFs of the supposed 15-device XSights?

I'm making the wild assumption it was changed with the firmware update.

The obvious answer on the other "15s" is to try it. I did it on mine in the remote by repeatedly using the Add Device function under Settings. It stops asking you if you want to add another at 18, and disables the Add Device button.

I've just done a quick search for Nevo C2's for sale and the only two ads I found that said how many devices were supported both said 18. Does the original literature with it say 15?
