Well, I got everything working, but can only find discrete codes for the JVC receiver and the Tosh HD-A2.
I can't find any codes specific for the Westinghouse LVM-42w2 TV, so I called one-for-all support and asked about codes for this set. They said the code 0885 was for this TV but that it would not work with any of the remotes I have.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to get an upgrade file for this specific code and TV? Please let me know.
I would also love to be able to call up the different inputs specifically (even the remote supplied with the TV does not have a specific button for the HDMI input - go figure).

The tv may not have discrete on/off codes or a code to change directly to a specific input. Unfortunately this is fairly common with less expensive sets and I'm in the same boat. TOADTOG is normally how you would overcome this but it's not available for this remote as far as I know.
vickyg2003 seems like the person most interested in working with these types of remotes who might have enough knowledge to get the TOADTOG protocol working so maybe she'll help out =) It doesn't look like she's seen this thread so I PMed her.
There are a couple westinghouse upgrades listed in the files section. Taking a quick look at a couple of them none of them show any discrete power commands. A couple of them did have discrete codes for HDMI so you might be able to try them out on your tv.

It will be a while before I work my way down to this remote. That doesn't mean that someone else won't beat me to it. Tweaking these protocols is slow tedious work. I really enjoy the challenge, but still its very time consuming. I haven't seen any TV at all except to run in and do quick checks of my remote, in over a month.
There will be special protocols, but it will take time.

Thanks for the info vicky. I know everyone involved in this is because they enjoy it and things may take time. Not missing much on TV since it's all reruns anyway right =)

Thanks to everyone for the assistance. I have got almost everything I wanted programmed onto my remote (limited by the lack of discrete codes for some of the inputs on my TV, but these were not critical).
I also got my downstairs system programmed onto a second 1067 remote (cable, HTIB, and Toshiba TV). After the first system was complete, this second one was a piece of cake.
