I will test it out. I see in my notes that 01F0 was one of about 10 options I tested but it caused another problem but maybe with just the old style.

Worst case scenario is I post an alternate version just for backlight problems.

Thanks

I can only assume when I tried 01F0 for the backlighton in the early model I must have had some other conflict since now it works. I notice the backlight is a little sluggish but not significantly. I will upload a new zip file in a few minutes.

Special thanks to mlynch for his persistence in finding a solution.

Hello and thanks for a great extender!
I have version B3 of the remote and had some problems with the backlight but now it works perfect. I just have one minor problem.
When I select the TV device and scroll to third screen where most of the buttons are visible the buttons guide, info, menu and the exit doesn't respond when I press them. They respond in every other screen. Does anyone else experience this or is it just me?

Yes, thats kind of normal because on the 3rd screen they are other functions in the base. Due to hardware restrictions I haven't figured a way around it yet.

Ok I get it.
Is it possible to assign any function to the keys? It would be nice even if it's not the same as in the other screens.
